1952 - Starting the College with Intermediate class(Groups I & II) 

1953 - Starting of Group II Intermediate.

1955 - College upgraded with B.A(Eco) & B.Sc(Maths)

1956 - Pre-University course replaces the Intermediate Course.

1957 - B.Sc(Chem), B.Sc(Bot) & B.A(Phil) introduced.

1959 - B.Sc(Physics) 

1963 - Pre-Degree course replaces Pre-University course.

1966 - M.Sc(Mathematics)

1967 - B.A(English)

1968 - B.Sc(Zoology)

1971 - College Library becomes 1st grade.

1977 - Marthomex - 77 Silver Jubilee Celebrations.

1980 - Pre-Degree Group IV & B.A.(Politics)

1981 - M.A(Economics) & B.A(History).

1982 - M.Sc (Zoology)

1984 - M.Sc(Chemistry)

1985 - Depts.of English and Zoology recognized as Research Centres.

1986 - Dept. of Botany recognized as research centre.

1995 - M.Sc(Physics)

1996 - Computer Education - P.G.D.C.A course started.

1997 - Following diploma courses started:Communicative English, Functional Malayalam.

1998 - M.Sc(Analytical Chemistry). Research Centre in Economics, Comparative Literature Study Centre.

1999 - The college gets accredited by National Assessment & Accreditation Council. Research centre in Chemistry.
